Ireland – An Island Of Entrepreneurs

2014 saw just under 18,000 new companies set up in Ireland which was the first time we had more than 17,000 start-ups in a year since the financial crisis began. Now, 2015 looks set to surpass that figure! According to there has already been 3,713 new companies registered in the month of January.

This is a huge number of start-ups for any month and is an increase of 22.5% compared to the same month last year. The most popular sector for start-ups last month was professional services, accounting for approx 26% of start-ups.
