Did you travel through Dublin Airport on June 24th?

Dublin Airport announced their busiest day in their 76 year history saw over 100,000 passengers pass through in 24 hours. These passengers all passed through the airport on Friday June 24th, the weekend that Ireland played against France in the first knockout round of EURO 2016.

Dublin Airport MD, Vincent Harrison said that the Airport has been experiencing high passenger numbers throughout the year. Every week since 15th May of this year, the airport has seen higher passenger numbers than the busiest week of 2015. The airport is on course to surpass last year’s record of 25 million passengers in a full year.

With flights operating to 180 destinations in 40 different countries, the future looks bright for Dublin Airport.
