‘Hundreds’ of jobs for Limerick in new operations centre

Ticket exchange operator Viagogo is to open its’ international operations centre in Limerick later this year, but the company has already recruited “in the tens”, with employee numbers expected “to reach the hundreds in due course”.

The Limerick operations centre is seeking employees with a range of skills and languages. Besides English, the centre is now hiring German, French, Italian, and Spanish speakers.

The Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland is supporting the company’s new investment in Limerick.Barry O’Leary, CEO at IDA Ireland, said Limerick continues to attract businesses in a variety of sectors, including technology, medical devices and financial services.
