Irish Construction Sector Shows Increased Growth In Activity

According to the Ulster Bank Purchasing Manager’s Index for April, the construction sector has shown an increase in its activity (63.5, up from 60.2) with the biggest growth figure seen in residential and commercial projects. It is the highest growth figure for the construction sector for any month since the height of the Celtic Tiger.

This has led to more contractors increasing the number of staff as they deal with the increased workload.
