Cellulac Creating Jobs In Louth

Cellulac have announced the investment of €25m for phase two of the redevelopment of their Dundalk facility. Cellulac are leasing the site from the Irish Whiskey Company and are retrofitting the facility for the production of plastic barrels which will result in an increase in job creation. Phase one will cost approximately €2m and should commence in early 2016 with phase two costing €25m with work commencing in 2017 running into 2018.

It is estimated that phase one will create 36 jobs. Phase two should see 50 jobs created in the construction of the facility and once operational there should be just under 50 employed on a full-time basis.
