80,000 Jobs By 2019; IDA

IDA chief Martin Shanahan today declared that 80,000 jobs will be created in Ireland by 2019 as part of the IDA five-year strategy. The strategy sets out the aim to maintain the same level of investment in Dublin and increase the level of investment in other areas by 30% to 40%.

According to Martin Shanahan, Foreign Direct Investment has increased by 40% and it is this FDI that will achieve the aim of 80,000 jobs.
