400 Jobs For Monaghan

Monaghan got a much needed boost in the jobs front this morning where it has been reported in the Irish Times that Monaghan based company Combilift is planning a new €40m investment in a new plant just off the Monaghan by-pass, creating 200 jobs within the plant and an additional 200 construction jobs!

Combilift, a forklift manufacturing company, currently employs 300 people and exports to over 75 countries. It hopes to double its turnover from €150m per year and to create the new jobs over the next 5 years. The majority of the jobs are said to be for Skilled Technicians and Design Engineers.
