US Tech firm Prometric has announced the creation of 40 new jobs in Drogheda, Co. Louth as part of a €3.5m euro investment in their Irish operations. Included in the investment is a €1m research partnership with DCU. €2m of the investment is for workforce investment and it is hoped the end result will be a total workforce of 168 in Ireland for the company.
The company expect the jobs to aid diversification of the company’s operations with the addition of finance and customer service functions. The Dundalk centre will have the sole responsibility of delivering Prometric’s business services to its customers across Europe. See the full article in the Irish Times.
