Uber – 300 Jobs for Limerick

Yesterday, taxi app Uber announced plans to make Limerick their centre of excellence for customer service. It is estimated that they will have 150 employed at the facility by the end of 2015 and a total of 300 jobs created at the point of being full operational.

It is the first Uber facility of it’s kind outside of the US and shows a huge belief in the talent available in the Irish workforce. Uber are looking to grow their network of customer service hubs and the facility in Limerick City is seen as a key element of that network as they invest €4m in the centre. Uber is currently used in 329 cities in 52 countries and their growth is happening at a rapid pace.
