80 new jobs created in Dublin and Sligo

Analytics company Numerix has announced it will create 30 jobs over three years at its new office in Dublin, while GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) will recruit 50 people in Sligo this year.
Numerix, a provider of cross-asset analytics for derivatives valuations and risk management, will recruit employees with backgrounds in financial engineering, financial analytics development, law and accounting. Numerix is the market’s leading provider of risk analytics technology for the pricing, structuring, modeling and valuation any derivative instrument, or portfolio.
The company seeks employees across a range of disciplines, including engineering, quality, technical, logistics, finance and project management. New employees will be offered fixed term contracts of up to 18 months.
Global healthcare company GSK announced it is recruiting 50 permanent and temporary employees at its manufacturing site in Sligo in 2015, half of whom have already been hired.
